Welcome to the Venus Transit June 8, 2004

I drove to Lorain, OH and experienced the Transit on the shores of Lake Erie as a guest of the Black River Astronomical Society. The road trip was a 1333 mile trek with beautiful weather and a picturesque morning. DG and the group from BRAS were terrific hosts and hope one day to host their membership at HRM Observatory.

I will be adding more pictures as I wade into all the data collected by the ETX90 with a ToUCam attached. This setup collected AVI's from start to finish and performed better than expected as I make my first, quick glance at the data. I also took 35mm film pictures with the 12" LX200GPS UHTC and a Nikon FE camera at prime focus. I will post those pictures when I have them developed.

Enjoy!
